Romans (Everyday Bible Commentary Series) Review

Hello All I hope you are having a blessed day, today I will be doing another book review from https://www.mpnewsroom.com  Moody Publishers. I received a book called: Romans (Everyday Bible Commentary Series) By. Alan F. Johnson, for free for my honest opinion.

Book Summary

Martin Luther said Romans was so important that every Christian should memorize it. Romans outlines many of the basics of the faith and has been a favorite of Christians throughout history. But reading Romans without knowing the historical background is like watching an old comedy without knowing the cultural references—still enjoyable, but not nearly as vibrant. Encounter Paul's crowning epistle in full color through Romans from the Everyday Bible Commentary series. In it you'll receive enlightening verse-by-verse commentary from Alan F. Johnson that's both straightforward and insightful.

You'll gain:

* Cultural and historical backgrounds
* Insights from the original language
* Help with the difficult passages
* And more!

You don't have to go to seminary to encounter God in exciting, new ways through His Word. Discover how much more enjoyable your personal study will be with understandable, quality Bible commentary for everyday life.

My Opinion

Romans is one of my favorite books in the bible, but I love how this bible commentary is By. Alan F. Johnson I love how it provides: Cultural and historical backgrounds, insights from the original language, help with the difficult passages, and so much more. This book is good to have with your bible to get a little more understanding.

This I Know Book Review

Hello All I hope you are having a blessed day, today I will be doing another book review from http://www.mpnewsroom.com. I received a  book called: This I Know: Trusting Your Unknown Future to a Known God By. Laura Dingman for free for my honest opinion.

Book Description:

How to live like God's in control

Do you worry often about what the future holds? Do you long for peace but don't know how to have it? Do you know factually that God is trustworthy, but not practically how to live that out?

This I Know is a Bible study for those who want to walk upon the water. It guides women into biblical truths about the character of God so they can step faithfully into the unknown, confident in the God they do know. Corrie Ten Boom said it best, “Never be afraid to trust your unknown future to a known God.”

Join Laura Dingman as she journeys through Acts 17, James 1, Habakkuk 3, Psalm 46, 2 Chronicles 20,  and Joshua 3, diving into subjects like abundance in Jesus, the goodness of God in trial, and the value of remembering God's past faithfulness. Each week offers opportunity for prayer, interaction with the biblical text, journaling, and group discussion. Using Scripture, insights from her own life, and prompts for reflection, Laura points readers continuously to the unchanging character of God, helping them surrender their lives to Him and give Him all their trust.

My Opinion

This book is a great book for a women's bible study, this is a 6 weeks bible study so that is really awesome. I recommend this book for bible study and you will learn about biblical truths and getting to know God and learn about how you can feel confident int the God we do know.

Hello All I hope you are having a blessed day, today I will be doing another book review from http://www.bloggingforbooks.com. I received a  Journal called: 30 Days to Peace: A One-Month Creative Journal By. Waterbrook for free for my honest opinion.

About:

A Creative Journey to Peace

In our loud and busy lives, it’s easy to miss the life-giving breeze of peace. That’s what this interactive journal is for. It’s about slowing down and taking time to pursue and embrace peace. It’s about welcoming the call to be a peacemaker. It’s about finding a peace rooted in faith rather than circumstances and living out that miracle every day. This is an invitation to create, write, doodle, and draw your way into the deep, lasting peace of God.
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
—Galatians 5:22–23
