It begins with me.

Ellie Claire Art Journals Review

Hello, everyone today I will be doing a review on three beautiful journals that I received for free for my honest opinion. I received the journals from Ellie Claire, the three journals I had the opportunity to review are the Faith & Lettering Journal, The Illustrated Word, and the Illuminate Your Story journal. I love to journal so these journals were right on time because I wanted a new journal and theses are different types of journals that I have never used, so I'm very excited and grateful that I got the opportunity to try theses awesome journals.

The Illustrated Word (AN ILLUMINATED BIBLE COLORING JOURNAL)

*Journal Description-

Create your own masterpiece with this journal that has forty glorious illustrations from ancient manuscripts that have been recreated as line drawings. Just as medieval monks brought Scripture to life through intricate inked illustrations in handwritten manuscripts hundreds of years ago, you can now create your own stunning keepsake that will be treasured for years to come.

I really like this journal, i'm going to use this book for notes at my weekly bible study at my church. The journal has beautiful illustrations that you can color as well as bible verses as well as space to take notes. I love the layout of the journal it gives me a pretty good amount of space to take notes for bible study. I used just regular paper-mate pens not markers or felt tip pens. Over all this one is probably my favorite because it's layout is the type of journals I normally buy and like to write in.

Faith & Lettering Journal

*Journal Description-

New from professional letterer Krystal Whitten! With guides, instructions, and tutorials, this is a fun and inspiring way to create beauty with words. It is the perfect place for journalers to practice Bible journaling, lettering quotes and verses, or decorating a page with original thoughts and plans. Exploring your God-given creativity has never been so rewarding.

This journal is great for a creative person like a artist, if you like to use write words and design the words and make them look pretty this journal would be for you. For me this journal was my least favorite of the three the layout doesn't really go with my life style. Its a beautiful journal but just not for me personally. This journal is great to use pencils or colored pencils, I haven't tried pens or markers in the journal yet.

Illuminate Your Story Journal

*Journal Description-

Learn to create your own beautiful illuminated letters with this how-to journal.

Use the almost-lost art of illuminating letters to enhance your writing, Bible journaling, or sermon note-taking. Rich illustrated manuscripts in the Museum of the Bible’s collection inspired these gorgeous letters. Easy to follow instructions, practice pages, and encouragements guide you through the creation of amazing start letters, flourishes, and more.

This journal seem a little similar to the faith & lettering journal, its pretty much writing the letters from the alphabet and adding color. It also has some great bible verses and some places to write whatever you like down. This journal is also great for an artists as well who like writing calligraphy, but overall its a great journal.

Book Description

Speak the Word of God out loud over your children and claim this generation for the Lord!

You Are is designed to speak life over the youngest generation. Each page includes a loving term of endearment, an encouraging spiritual affirmation, and a verse from Scripture to help imprint the Lord's promises and truths on their hearts. You Are will teach your kids that they are cherished by you and by their heavenly Father.

My Thoughts

I really think it is a really cute book, the way the book is made is made for a very young child even as little as a baby. But the words in the book will work for kids that are in early elementary school school. I home school my son and this book can be used for home school we can use the verses in the book to read and have my son memorize the verses. Overall I really like the book it is well made and very cute its does n't have a lot of pages but it works for us.

The Spirit-Led Heart: A Spirit-Led Heart Can Be a World-Changing Heart Book Review

Hello all I pray that you are having a blessed day today I am doing another book review on a book I received for free for my honest opinion from Bethany House Publishers. The book I received is called:The Spirit-Led Heart: A Spirit-Led Heart Can Be a World-Changing Heart By.Suzanne Eller.

BOOK DESCRIPTION

When the early church embraced the help of the Holy Spirit, uncertainty became boldness. Fear became courage. Weakness became strength.

Jesus promised us the same help. Why, then, do we keep trying to do things by ourselves? We try to do big things for God with nothing but our own efforts and a grit to see them through. Eventually, though, we find ourselves sputtering along like an old car, a little empty and a lot uncertain about our faith and purpose.

With warmth and vulnerability about her own journey, bestselling author and Proverbs 31 speaker Suzanne Eller shows that, with the Helper, we are not alone or ill-equipped. In these pages she reveals what the Holy Spirit offers:

· He empowers and guides us when we feel weak or lost.
· He offers confidence and boldness to the meek and comfort to those who hurt.
· He gives counsel and discernment in the face of uncertainty.
· His gifts fill us when we are empty and multiply our meager offerings into something truly miraculous.

The Holy Spirit empowered the apostles and the early church--and he will equip you today with that same help, boldness, and power to live a life of love and faith without borders.

MY OPINION

I picked this book because I have really been trying to live my life based off of spirit and truth. I am trying to be led by the spirit and this book was really helpful information on how to have a spirit led life. This book is a must read book the author did a really good job with great information and great read for bible study.

How to Be Filled with the Holy Spirit Book Review

Hello All I hope you are having a blessed day, today I will be doing another book review from https://www.mpnewsroom.com  Moody Publishers. I received a book called: How to Be Filled with the Holy Spirit By. A.W. Tozer, for free for my honest opinion.

Book Description

“Are you sure you want to be possessed by a spirit other than your own? Even though that spirit be the pure Spirit of God?
Even though He be the very gentle essence of the gentle Jesus? Even though He be wisdom personified, wisdom Himself,
even though He have a healing, precious ointment to distill? Even though he be as loving as the heart of God?”
 — A. W. TozerThis little book is hard to swallow. In it A. W. Tozer teaches plainly who the Spirit is, why we should
desire Him, but why few of us do. He instructs you in how to be filled with the Spirit, but first poses this question:

Do you really want to be filled?

My Opinion

This was a cute little book very short  book that you can get done in a few hours. This book is small but it is packed with some great information, that is very powerful I love how the book is broken into different chapters: the first chapter talks about (Who is the holy spirit?). The second chapter talks about(The promise of the father.). The  Third chapter talks about( How to be filled with the holy spirit.). And the final chapter talks about (How to cultivate the spirits companionship.) This book is a must read I really enjoyed it.

SOCIAL CORNER:

IlluminatedBible.org will be going live soon

My Opinion

I really love the bible it has a really pretty design on the front and the inside of the bible has beautiful writing on the sides of the bible with beautiful font. I love the large margins in the bible that will allow you to write notes on the side which is really awesome. The only down fall is that the bible is really heavy, not sure if you want to carry that bible around a lot. I think it would be great to use at home instead of taking it to Sunday school or bible study.
